Teacher Position Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with at least 6 credit hours in Infants/Toddlers. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

  • One (2-3) year previous direct early childhood classroom experience with low-income families.

  • Experience with multi-cultural programming preferred.

  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.

  • Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check.

  • A passion for the mission of Nurturing Niche

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (average child’s weight).

Teacher Assistant Position Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: 

·      CDA Credential in Infant-Toddler, Two’s or Preschool

·      One (1) year previous direct early childhood classroom experience with low-income families.

  • Experience with multi-cultural programming preferred.

  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
